3 Steps to Perfect Parenting

Forget your previous ideas about what a great parent you will be and how you will do things so much better than your parents. This attitude will get your no where. Instead strive for progress, not perfection. Try to be a better parent than you started out being, rather than trying to be perfect. Next, realize that parenting is about the kids, not the parents. How you children acts and performs is not all about you and your status. In the Christian scriptures, the book of Deuteronomy gives great parenting advise. Check it out! Finally realize that you aren't alone in trying to be a great parent, unless you chose to do it alone. Churches have great resources like small groups where parents can support each other. It may be hard to get to church with little ones, but it's so worth it!
