Earth Day 2017

Earth Day 2017 will be celebrated tomorrow and we are pretty excited about it. Here at LorettaRose, LLC we are honestly just a bunch of tree huggers. We love our Earth, and we feel very passionately about doing the best we can to respect it, live a responsible lifestyle, and teach children to want to do the same. Our objective is to express through all of our characters, a positive message to children, and inspire and educate through play. But with My Pal for Going Green, we are particularly hopeful that we will actually make a difference. Every year when Earth Day rolls around we are so proud of our My Pal for Going Green character. It reminds us that every time we sell a My Pal for Going Green doll, we are spreading a message of environmental consciousness to another kid who might one day invent a biodegradable substitute for plastic, or something crazy like cars that run on apple core fuels.

Some people might think that in celebrating Earth Day we aren’t really making any positive impact on the environment, but we beg to differ. With every #earthday that is posted, every free sticker or button given out, every biodegradable or environmentally responsible product that is promoted, the people that celebrate Earth Day increase society’s awareness of the importance of caring for our Earth. It is essential that the message is spread as far as possible to people who may not consider sustainability to be a priority, or to young people who may not understand the frightening truths about climate change. Earth Day is the day to try and make as many people as possible realize that living green and caring about the environment is of utmost importance for the well-being of future generations, and just for the general moral concept that as humans we have been blessed with an incredible landscape that we should never cease to appreciate, respect, and protect.
